Many physical changes associated with aging can affect productivity. Those that have been investigated include decreased cardiorespiratory functioning, reduced muscle strength and sensory deterioration. A decrease in cardiorespiratory functioning often leads to increased fatigue, according to a 1995 study. This can reduce productivity in older workers, who may be relegated to more physically demanding tasks if they lack technical skills for more cognitive tasks. Deterioration of muscular strength has been implicated in the decline in productive work performance of industrial workers who must repeatedly lift heavy objects. For example, planning and decision making may be affected by the culture. In the workplace, people should accept diversity by suspending judgments to obtain information first. The appreciation of cultural diversity in the workplace will facilitate and accommodative environment where all people can work with each other harmoniously. Moreover, empathy, regular checking of assumptions and doing away with ambiguities are ways in which one can exercise to celebrate diversity (Adler, 2005). Cultures can have similarities as well as differences. Beginning with the similarities, all cultures are said to be the foundations of a community. Communities derive their identities from their culture(Russel, 2011). The rules and beliefs are based on it. Moreover, cultures are assumed to be perpetual; they are passed from one generation to the other (Macnab, 2002). That means people are born, live and die but their descendants adopt the culture. Further, habits make people develop experiences. Once a person learns his or her culture, it is kept in mind, and the person hardly goes against it. However, cultures tend to be different regarding diets, dressing and worship. Misunderstandings may arise when one does not have cultural awareness and intelligence values to understand others (Adler, 2005). Cultures can be said to be mono or polychromic in nature (Taipale, 2012).The first one refers to the kinds of people who only do one thing at a time. For example, whenever there are burial ceremonies in most African communities, almost all people stop their operations to attend the funeral. The latter is utilized by the white people where their culture allows them to perform many tasks at the same time. To reach the same goal, people must have cultural awareness values to perceive perspectives. Assumptions, core values and realizable artefacts have to be identified to improve on cultural intelligence (Spencer-Oatey, 2012). Cultural awareness can be used to improve ones knowledge by taking into consideration other peoples values. For example, a person may have poor communication skills such as inappropriate dialogue and gestures (Flanja, 2009). Secondly, speakers should have adequate knowledge of their audiences when giving speeches. This is significant since some speeches may be in contrary to the cultural beliefs of the listeners. For practical cultural intelligence, languages, social norms and arrangements have to be considered. They sum up to social interactions and cultural practices. For example, the Muslims speak Arabic, worship in mosques and have a unique dressing style (Wilson, 2013). It is, therefore, wise for people to accept other cultures, especially in organizations to concentrate on the objectives of the firm. At schools, students should utilize cultural intelligence to recognize and cope up with the behaviors of others (Macnab, 2006). Social issues such as discrimination, racism and segregation hinder individuals from reaching their goals. Cultural intelligence helps one to discover that he or she has to cope with people. Emotions, Cognitions and peoples behavior have to be regulated by the individual to create social relations with his or her colleagues. Albee wrote his plays around the typical themes associated with the American drama. They were not just plays about family life; instead, they frequently focused on family dysfunctions and the underlying motives of family structure. In his works, Albee portrays many of the concepts of the absurdism movement that had begun in Europe after World War II. This movement was a reaction to the many injustices brought along with the war itself. One of the major motifs present is the idea that the playwright possessed little or no concern for traditional play structure and form. A second prominent trait of the absurdism movement is the lack of effective communication between the plays major characters. Grandma is an overall depiction of how Americans have not learned from their past. Instead, they talk past it and ignore its existence. Albee teaches that the past holds the truth to our future when he gives Grandma the ability to reveal the truth for Mrs. Bakers visit, and the knowledge that the Young Man is the identical twin of the familys first son. They are not happy with the way things are, representing the real values, and are trying to find satisfaction, or an artificial set of values. However, when Grandma leaves, Mommy is deeply upset until she is surprised with the presence of the Young Man. The sole purpose for the parents keeping Grandma around is found in the fact that she represented the old set of values. They could not send her away until she had been replaced, replaced with a new, artificial set of values. Albees ideas toward the new set of values is present when the Young Man replies to Grandma, I have no talents at all, except what you seemy person; my body, my face. In every other way I am incomplete, and I must thereforecompensate. This new set of standards revolves around the artificial qualities of looks, money, and power. Albee also extends to comment that the American citizens have become complacent and self-satisfied. In the opening French scene, Mommy and Daddy are perfectly content sitting around waiting on the guest to arrive. To Albee this is not seen as a sign of laziness, but as a warning of the smugness to come. Present Tense Verb Conjugations of German Regular Verbs The regular German verbs follow a  predictable pattern  in the present tense. Once you learn the pattern for one regular German verb, you know how all German verbs are conjugated. Yes, there are  irregular verbs  that dont always follow the rules, but even they will usually have the same endings as the regular verbs. The majority of German verbs are regular, even though it may not seem that way since many commonly used verbs are strong (irregular) verbs. The chart below lists two sample regular German verbs. All regular German verbs will follow the same pattern. We have also included a helpful list of the more common stem-changing verbs. These are verbs that follow the normal pattern of endings, but have a vowel change in their stem or base form (hence the name stem-changing). The verb endings for each pronoun are indicated in  bold  type. The Basics Each verb has a basic infinitive (â€Å"to†) form. This is the form of the verb you find in a German dictionary. The verb â€Å"to play† in English is the infinitive form (â€Å"he playsâ€Å" is a conjugated form). The German  equivalent of â€Å"to play† is  spielen. Each verb also has a stem form, the basic part of the verb left after you remove the -en  ending. For  spielen  the stem is  spiel. To conjugate the verb- that is, use it in a sentence- you must add the correct ending to the stem. If you want to say â€Å"I play† you add an -e  ending: â€Å"ich spiele† (which can also be translated into English as â€Å"I am playing†). Each â€Å"person† (he, you, they, etc.) requires its own ending on the verb. This is called â€Å"conjugating the verb.† If you dont know how to conjugate verbs correctly it means your German will sound strange to people who understand the language. German verbs require more endings for the various â€Å"persons† than English verbs.
